Our Linda's Wedding Day
It was a rainy April Saturday
But it didn't dampen the mood
Of this, our Linda's wedding day
Or dim the joy of our happy brood.
We gathered high up on the hill
Of the new church in Devon,
A springtime scenic vew of
Gentle hills, a glimpse of heaven.
On this, our Linda's wedding day
Everything planned went so well,
The flower girls and bridesmaids
Helped happiness cast it's spell.
The groom wasn't nervous, but calm
And gave us a reassuring smile
As my wife and I slowly escorted
Our Linda up the bridal aisle.
On this, our Linda's wedding day
We heard the voices so loud and clear
When the couple exchanged their vows
And I saw my wife shed a happy tear.
Craig and Linda, the happy couple,
Shared their love and joy today
And we'll always fondly remember
Our little Linda's wedding day.

Happy Wedding Anniversary Meggie
Wedding Poems
Happy Wedding Anniversary Meggie
Marriage is a bond of love
sealed under the eyes of God.
An arrangement of love for one another,
and the enrichment of their two lives.
Wedding Anniversaries celebrate
the bond of both man and wife,
of their choice to live together
for the rest of their lives.
So as we say Happy Wedding Anniversary to someone.
We are celebrating two people
whose lives have now become one.
We are wishing them love,
luck for the future
and that more anniversaries
they will share together.
Happy Wedding Anniversary Meggie
with many many more to come.
From a special friend.

Marriage Glow
Of a lifetime full of love and fun.
It just begins as you take your vows,
When the two of you are joined as one;
Through the years, may your love grow,
To warm you both from day to day,
In your marriage’s satisfying glow.
Wedding Poems....
The Best Is Yet To Be
You begin a brand new life.
Friends and family give their gifts
To joyful husband, blissful wife.
A gift from heaven above,
Is love forever, ending never,
Everlasting love.
You'll have plenty of that, it's true.
But love is the real treasure
For your new spouse and you.
As it does to one and all,
Your love will hold you steady
And never let you fall.
Tomorrow you cannot see.
But one thing's sure for the two of you:
The best is yet to be.

As I wait at the head of the aisle

Great Wedding poems :
As I wait at the Head of the Aisle
As I wait at the head of the aisle
On Dad's arm, about to be wed,
I remember the light of your smile
In the days when I still was a child,
And you kissed me goodnight in my bed.
And I think, as I wait by the aisle,
Of an innocent world without guile,
An Eden where goodness is bred:
Lit by the light of your smile,
A place where one tarries awhile,
Sheltered from sorrow and dread.
I wait by the head of the aisle
With a gift that no years can defile,
A beauty no winter can shed.
And I walk in the light of your smile
To a life that was mine all the while,
And a love that is just as you said:
A love that waits down the aisle
For the warmth and the light of my smile.

A Father's Fiancée
Great Wedding poems :
A Father's Fiancée
A father's fiancee is An intended mother. More than two are joined This day in joy. Though two may blossom By the winged boy's fountain, Other flowers are watered By that love.

For Our Wedding Day
Great Wedding poems :
For Our Wedding Day
For our wedding day... we hope that you'll be there
Our closest friends and family, all those for whom we care
Rings of gold shall be exchanged with love
Our lives together shall be blessed from above
Uttering promises to be honest and true,
Reciting our vows, and saying 'I Do'
We'll begin our new life, as we share in this day
Enjoy dinner together from a delicious buffet
Dance, sing, and have lots of fun
Declaring this day a special one
Inside this invitation, you'll find more detail
Notecard responses to send, call or email
Getting there is easy
Dear friends, we'd be honored if you'd set this date aside
And if you cannot make it, or if you cannot stay
You'll still be there in our hearts and thoughts... for our wedding day
